Praia do Carvoeiro is an old fishing village with lots of little, private houses in the centre and surrounding. Lots of bars and restaurants offer gastronomic speicalities for lunch and diner. Grocery stores, butcher, journal dealer, market, pharmacy, doctors: it's all there. Nearby you will find tennis and golf courses, horse stables, surfing and boat rental.

Wind protected, romantic bays surround the picturesque village of Carvoeiro. The rocks of shell limestone pile up to 30 meters.
